I'm a juice freak

I love juice. I drink any kind of juice whether it's fruit juice or vegetable juice. I have a Panasonic juicer at home which I consider the most sacred gadget in my kitchen. I became a juice freak five years ago when I dined out once with a friend on a street cafe in Dubai. The waiter offered me a glass of fresh carrot juice, and it's love at first taste. Over the years, I experimented with different juices - carrots with cucumber and ground flaxseed; green apples with carrots and ginger, watermelon with pineapple, etc. I also tried smoothies of malunggay leaves with pineapple, or parsley leaves with ripe mangoes. It's not really difficult to experiment. Filipinos are very lucky that the Philippines produces a lot of tropical fruits and green vegetables. The fruit and vegetable juices are not only delicious, also they are packed with nutritious minerals which help generate new body cells and defy ageing. Fresh juice helps my colon clean and healthy, and it makes my skin look supple and younger. Fresh juice gives my body a break from the digestion process and fills me up, making it easier to lose weight. Ladies, take note - drinking juice is an excellent way to reduce that thick waistline. As a bonus, because fresh juice has not been heated (heat destroys many beneficial micronutrients), our immune system has more energy to heal whatever might be ailing us. Why not try it?
